While getting ready to stream through OBS and get my PS Vita set up for a game..
I plug in male to male cord to my PS Vita then into my Gaming laptop.

Once that's done I also plug in my USB cable so I can have the PS Vita streaming to my PC but the problem I'm having is
whenever I put on the sound of my Vita, it starts to crackle and be distorted.

I have the cable plugged into the microphone jack and go through the sound settings to see if there is a problem with anything
as to what I see nothing is coming across problematic so I look through google and videos to see if there's something else that could be wrong.

I come across a forum stating that if you go to your settings on the home page of your PS Vita and un-check
"Battery USB Power" then it seems to work fine.

Once my Vita's battery is low, I need to plug it in to charge but i can't because of the sound getting messed up..
I have no idea how to go around this problem and I'd like to have my Vita charging while streaming through OBS.

If anyone could help me on this situation I'm having then I'd love to hear it.
Thank you.

I know you probably don’t need an answer anymore since it’s been 5 years but I’m gonna try to help just in case, it might be the quality of the cable or simply you plugged your audio cable in the wrong entrance, insert it in the line in audio (one of the coloured ones behind your pc) and see if it helps

I know you probably don’t need an answer anymore since it ‘s been already 5 years but I’m gonna help anyway just in case, from what I understood from your comment, I think the problem might be the quality of the cable, or more probably, you plugged the audio cable in the wrong port, try to insert it in the line in audio port (one of the coloured ones behind the pc) and see if it helps.
