any way to get soul calibur (the original arcade type, preferedly) for the pc? I couldn't find it.
You may use a Dreamcast Emulator with a gamepad...I played it in this configuration and it was nice
is it like the arcade ones? can you do multiplayer?
Well Multiplayer was there, but I don't know if the emulator support multicontroller.
I guess it was pretty arcade like...it was the original DC game.
Yes, multiplayer is supported in the bigger DC emulator (nullDC? I've long since forgotten). Aside from some graphical glitches, a dreamcast emulator will probably give the best experience.
thanks for the help i tried it with an emulator but i cant use a keyboard for some reason
You could also look at the latest MAME release for the arcade rom, see how well it is progressing. Supposedly it's imperfect, though not sure exactly what that entails beyond something about the sound I think.
Edit: just gave it a try, seems the backgrounds do not work properly, you get a ghosting effect caused by the fighter movements being copied over instead of the actual backgrounds. The fighting itself seems to work fine.
ok thanks ive had a lot of trouble getting it to start with chankast emulator.
