Hi at all,

since I have many apps now, is there a way to sort them in hbmenu? so that I don't have to scroll for minutes to get to the desired app?

best wishes!

Basically done, just one last tweak I want to try and fix.
My mod doesn't allow manual sorting, it lets you star your favourites, and they appear (alphabetised) at the start of the list before the unstarred ones. Adding more complex sorting options is beyond what I'm up for doing at the moment, maybe someone else might feel like it.

Sounds pretty good for the beginning, looking forward to this.

Awesome, working here for me. Only I'm using a dark colored theme and the star(the smaller one) shows up black, looks kind of weird.
Yeah I kept the smaller one black as it contrasts against the white background of the text label at the top of each icon, which is the same in light/dark themes. IDK what would be better, but I guess it can be changed with a custom theme if you're motivated.

Stellar work, but imo those stars are ugly and just add unneeded clutter. I'll be using the first "buggy" commit with a custom theme for now. Is it possible to disable stars in the theme config?

Oops, sorry, should have posted to the release thread.

If you're building from source, you might as well disable the lines that draw the stars, shouldn't be hard to find but I can help if you like. Don't use the first commit, it's got a memory leak. (the memory leak was in an earlier commit in my pull request, not the actual one that got merged)

e: but if you're making a theme, you can change labelStarOnText and labelStarOffText to "", should work.
