3,000 replies later and we realize people both love and hate Sony.
This and the PS Jailbreak will speed up sonys sales of the PS3.
actually rather surprised at that, considering ps2 was cracked way earlier than the ps3. either ps2 did extremely well in software or not many people are buying games as we thought.
Really, I'd want to buy it now that there is a "PS Jailbreak"
(I know everybody else was just waiting )
But then nintendo launches a new console!
It's super effective!
Actually it seems like nobody cares judging by the lack of replies to this topic.
Here's a pity post for you.
Only a fanboy would believe this nonsense, and only a bigger fanboy would post this meaningless tripe.
Seriously, this topic is embarassing. (And all one has to do to prove this PR line wrong is look at the sales. PS3 is far from the "defacto purchase." In fact, every single month in the US is the last place loser. And it will never catch up to the rest of the pack. But does that make it a bad system? Hell no, ps3 is a great system. Articles like this only make sony look desperate and pathetic. And the same goes for the fanboys who spread this shit without question. Insecure much? lol. )
I'm still trying to wrap my head around the 'entry level hardware price point' thing. What are they trying to say there? It's still the most expensive current-gen console, and they made sure it doesn't count as a PC anymore, so...
So... The manufacturer reported that their console is the "must have" purchase?
Why do I feel as though this may have some biases?
imo main reason why i think the ps3 will sell more now = PS Jail Break
especially if homebrew and emulation will be available i'll cave in and buy 1 in a heartbeat than i couldn't care less about ripping ps3 games 95% of the games on ps3 i can get on my PC.
The PS3 isn't essential.
Just useful because it doubles as a Blu-Ray player and a video-game console.
