I find it funny how we don't see that many "Vita is Doooomed" articles as we did with the 3DS.

Wish we had Valwin, that would've spiced things up.
Anyways, This is just like the 3DS's situation a couple of months ago, but slightly worse.
You see, Nintendo could afford to make such a big price cut because they were (apparently) making profits on every unit sold.
Sony, however, is already making losses with normal units. SO price cut is certainly out of the question,
What Sony really needs to do is something similar to that spectacular move of the 3DS. Maybe a killer game, or a bundle.

Does Windows Phone count as a handheld?

Also more competition breeds better products so bring it on. If Sony sticks in the handheld market, Nintendo gets better games. If Nintendo sticks in the handheld market, Sony gets better games. It's just the way it works.
