I know most games don’t work with it but I know what game does work with it since it had worked before, super Mario 64 ds. It just doesn’t work anymore, and yes I have it set in twl menu ++ to widescreen.

The rom is the exact same and I’ve tried other games that worked before and they don’t either

Make sure "Widescreen.cxi" is still in "sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/TwlBg/".
If it's not there, then that's why it's not working.

    Is there a "TwlBg.cxi" file in "sd:/luma/sysmodules/"?

    Please delete it.
If there's a similar-named file, delete that one as well.

Try re-installing the latest TWLMenu++ version manually.

Is Widescreen still enabled in TWLMenu++?
If so, is there a "widescreen" folder with .bin files inside, in "sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/"?
