Seriously hope the 3DS version is similar, since this looks awesome. Sonic X-treme Galaxy ftw.

I'll wait until we see some actual gameplay that isn't edited to look cinematic before judging it. Colors was great, and people said Generations was good (Although I haven't played it myself), so this could turn out to be good as well, who knows.

The style looks nice though. They should stick to more cartoony designs and not try to go with half-realism/half-cartoony like some of the more recent games in the series.

Hmmm, Sonic and Mario Galaxy combined.
This could be interesting if Sega can make lightning strike once more.

Light-hearted story, focus on platforming, vibrant colours...

Sonic Team pulling a Sonic Colours 2 here. That means it ain't bad!

However I can't say if it will include a level editor or what that hexagon world has to do with the game from this video...

Here is a imagine of both versions.

it looks like it could be good, but i really doubt it will be.
graphics aren't even up to par with the first sonic adventure, and the weird gameplay looks like a huge annoyance.

Two small questions:
1. When was the last time you played Sonic Adventure?
2. Have you ever played Mario Galaxy?

I'll admit, I'm a bit skeptical.

It looks rather too gimmicky for my tastes. Of course, if executed well, it could be very good, but I'm not seeing it just yet.

Also, the random new enemy... things better not mean I- *ahem* the doctor isn't in it. That'd be disgusting.

We'll see what happens once more news emerges. If all else fails, I'll watch the cutscenes. Chances are pretty decent I won't be buying the tea tray machine, after all.
