Forwarder would be awesome so you could put it on the home menu with the other VC sonic games. Anyone know if there's anyone working on versions for the Sonic 1&2 decomps on the wii as well?

I tried installing Sonic CD but everytime I try to open Sonic CD it says "Press B if you want the game at 16:9 with a lower framerate and smaller screen" so I press B but it just sends me back to the homebrew menu. Any solutions?

The comparison doesn't make sense. It's not native, so it doesn't have widescreen, soundtrack change on the fly, etc., that's the WHOLE point of the port, to make use of the new features. Also, why the insistence on playing it on GenesisPlus? It's not like anyone else on this Wii hacking forum doesn't already know how to play the original.

I've never used this, but I'd suggest opening an issue on github if you have some sort of problem with it. I could open one up for you, but I think it would be best if you guys did it, since I wouldn't know what I was talking about. lol

The game requires a file from the steam version to run (anti piracy measure I guess) and since SEGA released sonic origins they took down sonic 1, 2, 3, and CD

Can't play this port anymore lol
In case you're searching for the proper file, this is the MD5 for the Data.rdsk one I used from my Android install: 6649DD9866D07D6E588E29B101DA3488

Works without issues for me. Would love support for the Classic Controller and the Wii U Pro Controller in the future.
