Hacking Something wierd need advice

i a bit confused i have a wii thats been updated to 3.4 its a D2B version with a yaosm chip in

everything was working gr8 till update now no backups spin at all not even a little bit

i removed chip tried original all fine tried a backup to see if it would spin and nothing just a few clicks of laser

is the drive knackered or is it something to do with 3.4 update?

it''s not the update, are you getting any errors with the chip installed?
Maybe it's got a bad connection. (not to bad too short

no errors with chip in orginals spin up back ups dont not even one spin tired loads of back ups different makes of dvdr
