Hacking Some sort of gba Union?

I know that with the pokemon games you can trade pokemon with gba union. i was wondering if r4ds can link the pokemon game from the gba slot to the r4ds running pokemon diamond/pearl?

Yes provided you aren't using a flashcart for the gba game

what if i flash the game to my nor side of my ez flash 4 lite?
think is it possible?
i have not been able to try it out coz i still have get a slot 1 card like R4.

PharaohsVizier is correct although I believe R4 saves should be the same as EZ saves in this case (the game uses 4MB Flash if I recall) so could you not just use the EZ4 (assuming it is not an EZ4 lite compact) to run the rom and use the GBA link features of that.

As for the EZ3 linkup I had a theory but never got any feedback on it (and probably will not from this thread) but using a trimmed rom as the loader (and passme2 functions for saves) could you not fake the presence of a GBA game.

looks like it cannot be done huh.. guess i will wait for the next batch of supercard ds (one) review which suport gba union as the first one had many complains of being faultly.
