Homebrew Some noob questions

Hi,

i have several questions.

1. Is it nowadays possible to convert 3DS *.nds files to *.cia files? It used to be only possible with DSiWare games as far as i know..

2. While updating games thru the nintendo shop, how can i update all without having to update each single game one by one?

3. While updating some games give me error 007-2920, how do I solve that? I went into FBI->Tickets and deleted the red ones, but that did not help.

4. Is there a way to put files on my SD Card without having to take off the new 3DS backplate?

5. Sometimes the 3DS screen flicks, how can I stop the flicking?

6. I have not linked my Nintendo account to my console yet because I fear getting banned for downloading Updates, how high is the ban risk?

1. Not really, but you can either-

1. Use a flashcart and make a forwarder that will run the game from there
2. Use TWiLight Menu++ to run DS games. It works quite nicely actually.​

2. No idea about this tbh, someone else could answer it but I doubt it's possible.

3. check https://gbatemp.net/threads/why-do-i-get-error-code-007-2920-on-eshop.527653/. TL;DR- Try to delete existing updates too.

4. Yes, by either using the MicroSD Management embedded in your 3DS settings, or using the FTPd. I personally use FTPd because MicroSD Management menu isn't available in korean firmware, and it is quite stable.

5. Not really sure about that but if that's the hardware issue, you might have to change your screen panel.

6. You won't get banned unless you do obviously suspicious things. Oh, you probably would've done this already but be sure to turn off the option to allow your friends to see what game you're playing right now(don't remember the exact name rn). and... stay low. That's all.
