ROM Hack Soldat DS?

I would love to play Soldat on my DS.

Minimum requirements:
- A PC, a keyboard, a mouse, a brain
- 333mhz processor
- Video accelerator that can run Direct3D
- Graphics card compatible with DirectX 8.1
- 32 MB RAM
- Some free MB on disk
- Sound card
- Network card or modem
- Microsoft Windows 98/Me/2000/XP
- Microsoft DirectX 8.1

I guess the DS won't handle it, but its maybe worth a try?
If there is anyone out there who actually know how to port stuff to the DS, I think ALOT of people would appreciate it.

Since I have no knowledge in porting stuff to the DS someone else would need to do it, or maybe someone got a tutorial in how-to-port?

I think this has been commented other times before on this same forum. Thing is, as you said, it'd be only possible to play soldat on DS by porting it. Seems like no coder decided to do that as of now so I guess we'll have to wait and then wow at the first one in beginning the hard job

Kinda free, yeah. But I seriously doubt he's making a living out of the money he gets from it

at $1 per registered game (which gets you.. different colored jetpack flames and you can change the ui) he isn't ggonna be making a living off of it, but if the source was released, making hacks for it would be a lot easier, making it a lot harder fro him to keep them under control
