ROM Hack Solatorobo - Increase Enemy's Damage Output

I love Solatorobo in all ways but it's difficulty. That is to say, it doesn't have any. The game is absurdly easy. I could just avoid certain upgrades but tying my hands behind my back doesn't seem like the best way to get a challenge. I have never hacked a ROM before but I really want to make enemies deal way more damage. Maybe just find a way to double or triple it. I've tried to do it myself but found that I have no clue what I'm doing even after watching YouTube tutorials.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, it was 2 times, not 3 When you beat the game for the first time you can start over with a "New game+". Beat it again and you will get a "New game++" with the toughest difficulties and you can also purchase the strongest mechanical parts.

I played that mode looong ago, but I recall it was decent. It's a shame that such a good game for the Nintendo DS has a big difficulty flaw.
