Since when was Rev15 not created by waninkoko?



It was compiled by someone else before waninkoko had the chance to do it.That person then uploaded it and everyone called it fake.Waninkoko even commented that it was the real Rev15 and wasn't a fake.

I would be interested in seeing a link to that comment. It's reasonable to not trust it considering it was released well after Waninkoko left the Wii scene quite roughly. However, I concede that as not being evidence for it being not by him. I will still stand by saying that Hermes' cIOS222 is of higher quality and stability.

Please help im still having Trouble installing CIOS 249 Rev 14 installer to be able to run Nero gamma R7 i Ran threw this process http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltrd3oq8hPc running Trucha bug restorer..Got threw the whole process once..other times i got errors like "Getting Rev331 and then got
a tcp_read Timeout, and then a dump" and another time i got an Http:\ Connect
> error message. Then it freezes" But please Help i just want to install CIOS 249 this is on Version 4.2 U..PLEASE HELP!!! The trucha bug restorer method did not work.Also if thats not the correct method to follow to be able to install CIOS 249 please tell me the correct and EASIEST way to do so.

First of all, you don't read spanish - he never said he quit the scene. he said he would maintain the cios still. and if you want to see waninkoko talking about cios 15 go into the usb loader section of the forum and find the topic by wiipower about cios rev15. He himself replied to that topic, pretty much confirming that it is real.

follow zxzeros sticky easy hack guide it takes you to 4.2 and everything works perfectley. You may be comfortable with 3.2 but that is no reason to not be on 4.2 especially when your messsing with programs you have no idea about, just upgrade to 4.2 following the guide then it will be incredibly easy for you, or stay on 3.2 or 3.4 and keep having your issues, people will call you names, some may help you but most will think and say follow the simple mod of zxzeros - it does everything.

may I ask... I softmodded my wii using xzxero's guide, everything went fine and now I can play my backups. Is it safe to delete from the sd card all the files that were in the "modify.zip" file, like wads (IOS etc) or are they needed by the wii to keep being softmodded?
I tried to delete any useless file from the sd card but then priiloader wouldn't work as it needed the "hacks.ini" file, so I copied all of them back again in order not to have conflicts with other apps too.
I am basically asking cause everytime I am going to the SD card menu it pops up a question about whether or not load boot.elf (I think because of bannerbomb) and I am afraid of my little brother pressing yes and mess everything up.

You can remove everything from memory card, including hacks ini. Make preloader boot to system menu instead of preloader then it will no longer need the hacks ini, it only needs to be in once after that everything can be deleted. Best to make sure you kept your nand backups files safe though. only thing i keep on my main memory card is wad manager and a wad folder.

I just deleted boot.elf from my sd card main root but when I get into the SD menu it still asks me to load boot.elf... is there a way to stop this question from popping up?

you could delete or rename the private folder on the sd card
