Hacking softmodding 4.1U virgin wii

Hi all
I tried softmodding a virgin 4.1U wii(not LU64) with this guide here http://www.yafaze.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=1178
i managed to get everything working but they did not say anything about corps installer.
could someone help me out to get this wii loading games through the disk channel?
also I cant copy wiiware or vc games to the SD Card if that helps anything.

I have the following installed
wii firmware 4.1
preloader.29 with 4.1 hacks.ini
homebrew 1.03
usbloader gx
dvdx installed
cios 38 rev14
neogamma R6

download dol from here http://rapidshare.com/files/262522237/cIOS....1_dmm.zip.html place dol in on sd and run in homebrew

now you can play games from your own zone from disc channel and also play gamecube from disc channel

please note to load from disc channel the game must be from same zone ie pal copys on pal system

That version also seems to have issues with preloader for some people

should I reformat the wii and start with a better guide as I just found assassda's guide and theres acouple more steps added

v3.1 works very well for me fully happy

install worked fine for me first time just use files in link above

Don't use the v3.1 as it is outdated. Instead you should:

and get "NEW" cIOSCORP v3.2

i belive 3.2 only fix a problem some had with animal crossing which work fine for me on 3.1 anyways and ghostbuster work

People are also reporting speedups in-game and loading times. People would definitely benefit from installing 3.2 especially if you installed 3.1

There shall be a cIOSCORPv2 for 4.0 or 4.1

Same here, the preloader systemhacks wont work.

But I have not installel cIOSCORPv2.
I boot from channel because I have a modchip.

you don't need cioscorp to play games through disc channel. just get cios60 and preloader you are set. cioscorp is a pain to get rid of once u install it.

How come everyone says that? It seems pretty easy to me, just replace cIOScorp IOS's with clean ones from NUSD. Done.

I did notice there is a glitch where if you enable "IOS Reload (249)" in the preloader hacks and try to load Wii Sports Resort through the disk channel it will come up with the 002 error.

Because you have to use something different in order to install those clean IOS's. Even then it doesn't account for getting rid of the other things it installs like:

bc = bc v5 + Trucha Bug Restored
cmios = mios v4 with GC Backup Launcher embedded but
with mios v9's tmd, ticket, and banner info.
DVDX Fix Installer:
IOS201 = IOS36 v3094 + Trucha Bug Restored + ES_Identify Patch + NAND Permissions

Patch
DVDX = DVDX, but runs under IOS201 instead of IOS36

It's "hard" because there's no clean uninstallation process for getting rid of it and everything has to be done manually, which is especially difficult for noobs.
