softmodded xbox apps returned me to evox dash

As the title implies, I've softmodded my xbox, still using the stock hdd. I've placed emulators in the e:/Emulators directory, and the xbox lists them in the fash, but when I click on them, the screen goes black, and brings me back to the evox dash. It even does that when I use the apps that came pre-installed with evox.

Any ideas on what I can do to run the apps and emulators?

Have you patched the kernel?
You could always restore the original C drive, resoftmod it again.
