The GBATemp gamma channel there is news.

Homebreware itself, is not. It's been around for months. TT even complained to them at one point for selling TP Hack and HBC.

old news. ive seen it before.
anyone think the testimonials are tru? i dont lol. i think they created email accounts.
and if you look at the proff of tesimonials, the text has a a slight blue background instead of just white. so it has been cut and past from somewhere. the 'sellers' didnt think this through.

So you paid $29 for free software? You realize they are going to have you do the same things everyone on this site is going to tell you to do right? I hope that was a joke...

funny thing is that when you use any homebrew on the wii your warranty is void, so they are basically lying to the people who are paying for it.

Judging from their business practices, I sincerely doubt they'd listen to voices of reason.

These asshats sure do need a swift kick in the prune pouch though. [IMG]

Or a nice cease and desist from Nintendo! Fucking scamming losers. Sadly this is a sign of the times and is no different to a shop offering a softmodding service for a fee. People really will do anything for a quick £$!

I wonder if Nintendo will do much about it.

They don't seem to actually stop emulators made to emulate their systems despite claiming that the emulators are illegal.

Its a different scenario when its system files being sold. That is actually illegal.

    Emulators are not, roms are.

This is true. I just find it funny how Nintendo claims all kinds of things are illegal when some of them aren't.

Like they claim game copiers are illegal, even though there are fair use laws that allow you to make your own archival copy.

But, you're right, they are selling modded IOS's. And I can see that pissing off Nintendo in some way.
