Gaming Softmod and DVD 9

Can a softmod wii read Dual Layer discs?
Ive burned x3 copies of Metroid Other M...all of them give me a black screen with text saying that the disc cannot be read! tried on two softmods same on both, if I put them in a chipped wii they all play through NeoGamma or Gecko

I believe is the drive the one that can't reproduce the DL discs, so your only option to load this games is thru USB...!!

Managed to get the game to play via DL DVD
