Minor repairs to the Nintendo Wii are charged at £27.40 (repairs outside of warranty period)
Major repairs to the Nintendo Wii are charged at £65.50 ( misuse or physical damage)

try taking it back to asda and sayin it broke doing a update lol

lots have done it succesfully depends how old the wii is.
