Hacking SoftMii 2.1.1 Help?

Is it safe to run this on v4.0E of the wii menu, all guides say to downgrade and install, but these were written before 4.0 and i have already downgraded and installed waninkoko's 4.0.
Will this be ok?

Just wait until 3.0 is released anytime today or next couple days. No eta... only know it soon.. since they have 2.9.7 going now.
