Tell me how long are you going to keep your wii? lol be a very very long time.

I personally think that is not too far off... it's just a matter of time and from the progress speed that this on going project has been showing... it's only a matter of a couple of months... but that is only my opinion... especially after Marcan releases the BootMii feature... because I am sure that he will release a source like anyone that wants to show off their coding skillls and keep the reputation of being a great coder...the source is usually released... and soon Wiigator will probably come back out of the wood work to help out so he can release a more official version of his masterpiece...Again this is only my speculation from what we have already seen happen within the last couple months...

By the way has anyone tried Spyro the dragon to see if that is working now?

It's not a bug in the loader... It's someting that we can't fix yet. "either the dip-module, the elf patch, di/do, or the 0xa8->0xd0 patches in waninkoko and wiigator's IOSes" (Requiem)

Tested here, one interesting thing: my NTSC version worked... on my PAL console.

Edit: Dawn of the Dragon right?

there is no usb2 on the wii right now. there was a guy asking around for coders to develop a usb2 ehci module for the system menu, but i got dized by a couple of people around here. maybe he is still working on it. maybe requiem wants to get in touch with him. here is the thread: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=108685&hl=ehci

Yea, I don't think it's something that is impossible to do w/ USB module supporting a HDs with .ISOs on it.... think of the discs you would save and the speed should be better as well...if done right... it would definatley be the ultimate backup launcher/loader to come.

And I was asking about The Legend of Spyro Eternal Nights to be a little more accurate...(NTSC-USA)

I don't even try any other region games seeing that I haven't had very much luck and my TV won't support the PAL...

Even if your TV doesn't support PAL, you can try to see if the game boots, it'll just be in black and white. Like my spyro NTSC did here.

@WiiPower:

I didn't get round to trying forcing the video mode, since I see my issue's been fixed in SVN.

Since the Set_VideoMode part has been tweaked, it now detects correctly (at least for all the games I've tried - including RE4).

Thanks for the advice, though.

Also, I can confirm that your entryholder fix on Wiigator's loader makes Wario Land TSD (PAL) load the "Disturbing Tomb" level perfectly...good job!

Also, I think it would be good if requiem or someone else could regularily release a .dol for all the peop[le that don't know how to compile a wii executable, or use a mac like me.
As long as you have an Intel Mac (I think that the toolchain requires Intel), all the stuff is freely available so you can compile your own. Come on, search it out, set it up and do it yourself instead of asking others to do it for you. Especially since requiem specifically said he would not release binaries.

I was just thinking, seeing that most of the problems with games are with the cios and you cannot improve more the loader 0.3 and that these games work with old version 0.1 maybe you could try to improve the source of version 1 or use parts of this one with what you already have done.

Or maybe you are already doing this, anyway, thank you for your job.
