But it's impossible to access emunand since CHMM2 apparently broke it.
Backstory:
It broke badly. I cleaned it and just a drop of water got into the DPad. I thought I destroyed my system, and sure enough, I tried turning it on after cleaning. (which you should never do btw)
Screen is dim (like absolutely no (0) backlight but there is a still image of the first frame of loading Home Menu) and unresponsive upon boot. Screen dies to blackscreen after two seconds
*gasp*
-Just installed a theme and it went to blackscreen upon return to home menu, hmmm..
Opens sysNAND,
Discovers system is completely fine.
Just a background story.

So, what I'm asking is, what is the path you go to to delete theme extdata?
(Also,
Random uneditable font change ftw)

could try to figure out which part of extdata contains the busted theme and delete that.

edit: oh wait, that's already your goal. I don't know which part you're looking for specifically though

Which though? There are two extdata folders. One in the directory with my NANDs (Nintendo 3DS > random numbers #1, random numbers #2, extdata folder).
When I go into my nand folder there is another extdata folder with the usual dbs and stuff.

Actually, I went in and looked into the nand specific extdata folder. I recognize this stuff. These are titleids from my games, I see my Smash physical card's ID and the Japanese's ID.
Mah replays... does anyone know the specific folder theme data is stored in?

If you feel like playing whack-a-mole for a bit, you could go through a process of elimination, backing everything up and deleting things until you discover which one is the theme. you already know a few ones which aren't your target, it seems.

I'll just add a random letter to the begin on the folder name (so the 3DS sees it as unusable), rather. Thanks for the idea.
(tfw you have a 64gb microSD and are running too low on space to back up anything)

Ohhh no.
The system is creating new HOME Menu Management info...
My games...

THANK GAWD
I spent hours rearranging my nearly full home menu today, and everything went into gifts. But at least it boots.
Oh boy, I can't wait to unwrap over 200 apps... xD

Yeah it works great but it's the obvious Ds factor you loose from it it's not like playing atari games on atari because Nintendo actually use to give a reason to buy their hardware
