Hacking So, my DSL finally cracked.

That's why you should stick to the DS Phat. That thing is like a tank. I've had mine for probably 3-4 years and their hasn't been one squeaky hinge. The DSL is just more sleek, sexy looks than an economical design. I wouldn't waste my money on something that'll break so easily.

Apparently if you use flashme on some of the later models it unlocks a variable backlight. I would try on mine but I KNOW mine is far too old.

the only reason i bought my DSL is because my DS Phat mysteriously stopped working and i didn't want to pay 4 repair...

and the scredriver needed to open the DS with.

Didn't get pliers or the scalpell thingy that is mentioned in the guide.

Mostly because i didn't know if the other site mentioned, ships to my country (for free) and the things costed almost as much as the shell did.

Hopefully i can find some pliers lying around, or find some cheap ones at the closest store.
