Gaming So I played TF2 for the first time today.

It's okay. I really don't know why it's so popular. The cartoony feel kinda bugs me and it's a little complicated (though I'm sure it's just because I just started playing it). I guess I'm missing something?

I felt the same way. It's one of those games you have to really warm up to. Once you are a Heavy blasting away at enemies trying to take your point THEN you'll learn why it's so popular.

I find BC2 a better experience, but i'm more into realistic shooters

It's kinda my favorite online FPS (any any online game for that matter)
Have about almost 700 hours on it. Me and my friends play it all the time.

I've had some fun in TF2, such as having the ultimate medic+pyro team where you just tear through an enemy defines line and blow everything up. In one round we chained 5 such ubercharges and racked up a LOT of points. The same could be said with well timed ubercharges on a heavy, but oncenyou see everyone doing it then it's not special anymore.

In the end however, the fun doesn't really go up from there, so I ended up quitting thinking meh, good for a while but not as good as L4D. And this was before they added trading and materials and all that random minecraft stuff.

Seriously, go on a team with at least one medic, and be a heavy (they need a medic as their life partner really badly). Once you're blasting away with the Tomislav you created yourself, it's great.

OR be a soldier, get one of the OP lasers, and blast away away away.

The reason is because of these stupid local servers have a terrible community fulled with 10 year olds nagging about spies.
And my ping is about 300ms.

The problem is you're from Ukraine (I think).

Here in Australia there are great servers (a great example is the GamersUnited servers) that are lag-free and have great players.

you should try some of the mods.
Vs. Saxton Hale is so fun.
Especially since it emphasizes Teamwork.
