Hacking So I messed up on the system transfer....

I got a new2ds for Christmas and I was trying to do the dsiware cfw and I accidentally pushed yes on the question regarding if I had used any microsd cards before instead of no since all I had before was an old3ds.... Is it still possible to retry the process again or did I ruin it all?

Not necessarily, you will probably need to transfer back, redo the hack and then transfer back again.
There is a time limit of a week between transfers.

You mean the option that asks you if you're currently using a MicroSD?
That's the one you want, as it will let you just move across all the data to a MicroSD rather than doing the slow wifi-based transfer.

I went through the options but when it was time to do the pc part it was saying that I needed to place the microsd card into the source 3ds but there is no way I can do to the difference on sd cards between the old3ds and the new2ds...

use a PC to copy all files from the o3ds sd card to the new2ds microSD. when you boot it afer the transfer it will unpack the dsi game to it's nand

edit: you can format the n2ds micro sd (or delete it's "nintendo 3ds" folder, after all you don't need those files, only the ones from your 03ds)

System transfers don't remove CFW if you have A9LH/B9S.

When it got to the point where I would transfer the files on the pc the new2ds got stuck on a loop where the information about transferring the files and to put the microsd card from the source 3ds before turning the 2ds back on but it never turned off so I could do so
