hey guys i got a little question.
i saw a video where starfall was beeing installed.
the guy who recorded the video opened the hbc and then got directly (i suppose) a connection to his computer.
how is this done?
till now i always have to go to my pc, plug in the sd, transfer the files, remove the sd and plug it into the wii. pretty annoying

it's a program PC utility called WiiTCPLoad sends elf/dol over to Wii, just put in your wii's IP and locate the file, then click send......
http://wiibrew.org/wiki/WiiTCPLoadGUI

Warning, certain .dols cant be sent over, you have to do it through HBC like normal in apps, only a few though...

That is through sendelf. With sendelf, you can send .dol files over the network. I have a guide in my sig.

Head over to the sendelf guide and just use the sendelf, set your IP and TCP, and choose starfall's boot.dol and pass in .dol argument, then click send elf

EDIT: Both works anyway.

Actually you are completely wrong, I do not just go around installing things on my wii, I have homebrew for ONE thing....the only reason I installed starfall was because I dont want family/friends coming over and installing things on my wii and bricking it, and having no recourse. please stop assuming I am just some idiot only because I want something more than a vague sentence to describe something that is otherwise refered to as a savior for those who have had bricked wiis, because you are making an *** of yourself.

I didn't assume anything. In your original post you were clueless or pretending to be clueless. Then you reacted poorly when helpful information was provided to you by Edgedancer. Now you're reacting even more poorly when I called you on it. I still bet you end up bricking your Wii, and then come back blaming it on your "family/friends" or posting under a new account.

Merry Christmas!
