since I'm without a decent computer I am looking at Old PCS to call my own for a little while. Gaming is important to me and us I would like the specs to compliment it until I can get a better one. That being said this pcmcia standard has interested me for quite some time because I have seen people run external pcie graphics cards off of this connection. But how does this Port feed all of that information fast enough to the Jeep you for it to be a benefit? Is there something I'm missing or is this not really worth my time?

It runs a pure PCIe connection, so it's as if you were using a standard x4 (x1?) connection. Basically it utilizes the full power of the GPU, but because of bandwidth it's restricted to either Gen 2 or Gen 1 speeds. Basically, you can game on it, but you have to go a tier or two up in card spec to see the performance you want
