Why do people want the world to end so much?
I don't think it is a matter of wanting the world to end. I think it's how guillable people tend to be, and also how the media tend to glorify this type of thing. Like that one movie.

Besides, life is great!

You mean people took the mayan theory seriously? Whenever someone would mention to me I would smile and play along. I thought it was a joke.

I'd like to remind you all that Mayans are a civilization that disappeared from the face of the Earth in quite mysterious circumstances...

ANCIENT ALIENS. Also, the same ANCIENT ALIENS taught them how to predict the end of the world.

The calendar is legit, it's just that our primitive scientists are too lame to read it correctly. :creep:

Ever thought of the fact that they died out? Or they mixed with all the other races or something who knows.

It was a couple years ago one of the Mayan leaders said that the whole world ending thing is just a Western Hollywood lie. None of their calendars mentioned anything of the world ending.

Still cant wait to see all the people going batshit crazy around December time. I especially look forward to those who paid craploads of money for "Survival Bunkers" that were likely complete lies anyway.

So out of curiosity what do the cycles represent? Is it a noticeable change? (Not apocalypse-wise, mind you.) I'm just curious on what decides these cycles.

I could be entirely wrong (please correct me if I am), but it just seems to go by the passage of time. I'd imagine it would be significant for them the same way the turn of a new century or millennium is for us.
The Mayans actually had 17 calanders based on the cycles of different things in space. Like constalations, the earth and the moon.

You did not get the joke. At all.

Seriously though, IF THEY DIED OUT, WHERE ARE THE CORPSES ?!? ANCIENT ALIENS I SAY, THEY WERE ABDUCTED!

It has been exhausting trying to convince people the world doesn't end in 2012. Swearing and cursing didn't help either.

But shoving the source link to the article down their throats will be much easier :creep:

Okay then, what's the next year an "apocalypse " is going to happen.

It can be next the first thing I yell out after this apocalypse is over. ●﹏●

i knew it was bs from the very start the biggest bs rumor was the black hole theory. seriously if a black hole was gonna suck up the earth we would have felt the effects long long before it was gonna happen!
