It's still a mediocre concept for a portable game. It's much better to just buy it on a console and get two other Metal Gear games with it.

well i think is a great concept for a portable game and i hope to see more

Lol I hope you enjoy sitting through numerous cutscenes on the train. PICK UP AND PLAY INDEED.

The finale outro of the game is around 30 or 40 minutes if memory serves (although it may just have felt that long)....it's crazy to think that would work well on a portable console.

I actually agree with Guild (for once). Long cut scenes, complex controls, squinting at distant soldiers in camo against a forest on a small screen... Not the type of game you want to play on the move. Colourful and simple graphics and hand-held gameplay built from the ground up is the way to go for portable gaming rather than trying to cramp a home console game into your pocket.

Think of the great handheld games of the past. How many of them were multi-format titles or the result of bringing a home console franchise to the small screen?

they should have made a new game from scratch build especially for the console

MY GOSH. Since when has this thread become a MGS3D and MGS HD Vita comparison?

Each of them have their good points. We know what the 3D version has and we also know how 'superior' the HD version is. So shut up. /fanboy

i vote that i'll pass.

I am not into metal gear solid... but i'm willing to try the demo. haven't checked the eshop to see if its online or not though.
