it can be done in ubuntu, i don't know if it is possible in other linux os's but as far as i know it cannot be done in windows...

But even with 2 GB we can't use it properly on our wii..Nintendo have to make something to load the save games,virtual consoles games and Wiiware games directly from the SD card or maybe a homebrew that run a .wad

MacOS X, WinXP, Win7, Ubuntu, RedHat... And you'd still have more room than you'd know what to do with!

Sad thing is, I don't think you can partition an SD card, lol

You can partition an SD card. Installing whiite linux for wii requires you to do so.

Yes but is it a desktop version or just a server?

P.S If we install vista on our wii we'll get a new version of bricking wii's

I read about this on Engadget a couple of weeks ago and was like "WOAH." Can't wait till these start getting released. Will old hardware be able to utilize them though? :/ Like a digital camera (one made before the release of this new type)?
