Lol that might be because you hate like 98% of stuff that even resembles something Japanese. Also what do you even mean by bad characters in the first place? Looks and backstory and stuff are not particularly important in a fighting game that you can't even read the text of.

The JUS games are fun. It's like Smash Bros, except with tons more characters and customizable stats thru the Koma system. Also tends to be broken as hell, but fun nevertheless.

That, games and voice acting are about the only Japanese things I ever see you talking about and in 98% of cases (yes I pulled than number out of my ass) it's ranting about how it sucks. So no, and while you might not have anything negative to say about the country/culture/food/whatever, you do give off that impression.

Seriously though I'm kind of interested but I wouldn't actually buy this. The DS game was fun for a while, but the characters felt too limited to me. It kinda felt like every character only had 5 attacks or something.
