Homebrew SNES9X GX Problem

So here's my problem:

When i'm in a game in SNES9X, i can save a snapshot just fine, but when i attempt to load it, it gives me the message: "File not in Snes9x Snapshot format"

Does somebody know how to fix this, and if you do, how can it be done???
