If you have a SNES game that got ported properly to GBA, get the GBA version.

Good ports to GBA:

Final Fantasy 5 (the most perfect of the FF GBA ports)
Final Fantasy 6
Super Mario World
Super Mario Bros 3
Super Mario Bros 2
Yoshi's Island
Magical Quest series (okay, the first had butchered music, but the game/graphics were still perfect)
Megaman and Bass (this is one of the most flawless ports I've ever seen)
Zelda Link to the Past
Aladdin SNES port (the Genesis version works perfect in JenesisDS)
Super Ghouls n Ghosts

Bad ports to GBA:

Earthworm Jim (ouch. At least this works near perfect in SnemulDS and JenesisDS)
Earthworm Jim 2 (ouch again. Has serious issues in SnemulDS. Works perfect in JenesisDS)
Pitfall Mayan Adventure (shares the same issues as the EWJ GBA ports. Perfect in JenesisDS)

Borderline bad/good ports:

The Donkey Kong Country trilogy (gameplay is somewhat faithful, but the graphics and sound are ruined. DKC 1 works near perfect in SnemulDS, DKC2 works pretty great as well. DKC3 has some pretty annoying issues that make it hard to play).

Final Fantasy 4 Advance. This one was a port of the obscure Wonderswan Color version. The WSC version was more of a remake than a port, so it's fair to say that the GBA version is considerably different to the SNES game. I only put this in the borderline section because most people don't like how it had a ton of bugs/slowdown. I thought it was a decent job though. Still, the SNES game is somewhat playable in SnemulDS, but has some serious menu issues that make play very hard.

Ports even worse than bad ports:

Sonic Genesis (BIG OUCH)
Fix'd

No doubts there, but I was listing SNES games and ports. And Sonic 1 works perfectly in JenesisDS!

Personally, the DKC trilogy doesn't work for me, SNEmulDS just writes corrupt saves. I guess I could play them if I left my DS on for the entire playthough ... not sure what the cause of the problem is, as others report them working fine. I have an EZ-V, which has previously had problems with DLDI, but the patch has been updated recently and still I can't save, so I'm unsure if there's still more wrong with the DLDI patch or what.

As for FF4 Advance, I've read that the (E) ROM actually had a lot of the bugs fixed, so that version should be preferred in that case.

Ah, right, it's just that Earthworm Jim to me will always be a Genesis game. And yes, I can confirm that Sonic 1 works perfectly on JenesisDS, I finished the whole game on it
