Any idea why Elfins.exe just crashes when I run SNEEK.cmd with rev 78? :S

I'm on Windows 7 x64 if it matters..

I have all my paths setup correctly, and the files are in the proper place, so I have no idea what's wrong.

Have you managed to compile before? Check your version of devkitARM, should be 24 or 25 latest crashes

Oh, I'll check again.

Edit: Now I get access is denied when it's trying to patch the IOS files. No idea why..

I have Sneek running a PAL 4.1 nand but I want to update to 4.2 to play with the menu. I don't want to update the real Nand to 4.2. Anyway can i update the Sneek Nand and run bannerbomb as I believe sneek turns off SD access? Or does the homebrew channel survive a 4.2 update with the latest version?

Cheers.

You could use NUS Downloader to get system menu 4.2E and then install that wad into your backup NAND (for SNEEK) using ShowMiiWads.

Hope that helps.

Homebrew channel works just fine on 4.2. So all you need to do is boot up your SNEEK NAND, hit the big, shiny Wii System Update button in the options, and you're good to go.

I was struggling with my harddrives, none of them would work, so i thought they where not compatible with SNEEK. Then i reformatted them from NTFS to FAT32 and guess what? they all work now
wacko.gif

The errors i got where;
- a black screen.
- a blue light from the disc tray and then a black screen.
- a blinking system menu.
So if you got any of these try reformatting your drive to FAT32.

Only SSBB still gives me troubles, like mentioned before i can't play classic mode, but adventure works fine. I transferred the game to my pc from wbfs to iso, then used wiiscrubber to extract the data, i also used the wbfs_file_mod.

To anyone successful in running classic mode, how did you extract the game data? (btw. i have the original disc).

I have this problem and hope someone can help me.

After compiling (v78), I copied contents from SNEEK/SD to SD. The system will boot up only if the USB drive is connected. The NAND is from the SD card. If it is not, I get the black screen.

If I copy from the UNEEK/SD to SD, I just get black screen.

Anyone know what's wrong?

Running rev78 here:

NAND from SD + di.bin -> working (new selection menu is also working fine)
NAND from USB -> working
NAND from USB + di.bin -> short hdd activity and black screen

Is nand from usb + di.bin supposed to work or am I mistaking this?
I tought menu only works for 4.2E. Does it work for NTSC?

I'm having trouble building boot2 since the DI module starts being used. I downloaded the r47 compiled armboot.bin, but when I run build_boot2 it keeps failing with the messages:

make: python: Command not found
make: *** [armboot.bin] Error 127

Because of this, I believe di.bin,boot2_usb.bin,boot_sd.bin, and boot2_di.bin are not created.
