We always known that Savegames are located in:
title0010000\

however I noticed that some titles ie MarioKart Wii also save data in a folder named 00010004 inside the title folder. Can anyone confirm this?

yeah that folder is for the online play stuff

Furthermore, if I delete that Mariokart savegame from 00010000 and play the game again it retains the license and Mii Info, unless I delete 00010004 data too.

Not sure if theres something with my UNEEK build or Modmii NAND build. 4.3E NAND allows me to configure wireless fine but after building probably 12 or so 4.2E ones with Modmii, I still get "Error Code: 110213 There is a problem with the WiiConnect24 Service"

Anyone else encountered this? Real NAND is fine, as is my internet

Given that every time a wii performs a system format or first-time initialization (the screens where you select a region and enter a console name) it registers with Nintendo's wc24 servers and receives a set of unique credentials (stored in nwc24msg.cfg) that must be used for any future connection attempts (i.e. retrieving messages from friends and update notifications), it would not surprise me at all if half the people messing around with sneek/uneek or switching between different nand dumps have b0rked their wc24 connection without even knowing it - if it fails trying to retrieve messages it doesn't give any error message at all. The only way I found out mine was stuffed was when I tried to add other people's wii FCs for RB3 and they were never confirmed despite the other people adding me back.

It seems to be specific to E nands. Ive ran about the same number of U nands and they ALL configure fine. I NEVER use my WC24 (on real nand), its always turned off and I don't do online/multiplayer stuff. I set up my Wii (country, language etc), configured wireless and thats it. Ive never updated online neither, just confused as to why its only doing it with E nands

I tried with an old 3.2E dump yesterday and it hung after pressing A on the health screen. I have a 4.2E dump, although I wanted a virgin one if poss.

shouldn't matter though should it if you're configuring a "new" wii? My 4.2E real nand has oudated internet and shop, but I can use wireless just fine

Just for shits 'n' giggles, is there any way to downgrade a 4.3U nand to anything from 2.0U to 3.2U? The old Softmii Firmware Downgrader blackscreens on bootup via HBC. Just wanna see what it feels/looks like, also to see if I can. If not whats the best way to create a virgin nand for 2.0U-3.2U?

I'll have a go with an extracted real 4.2E

EDIT: cant find the 4.2E dump, just ran a virgin 4.3E and still get that same error. 4.2U & 4.3U fine
FYI, when changing the region of your emulated nand (or sometimes even changing to a different version of s/uneek) you should delete the diconfig file to avoid errors.

If you dont change the region then you could use ShowMiiWads to delete the SM 4.3U (as an example) and replace it with the SM 3.2U (as an example, and you could prepare this wad by downloading using NUSD). Make sure you have the right IOS set-up for the new SM.

If you want to change the region then you could use AnyRegion Changer while running SNEEK/UNEEK (in my case I used this wiibrew for changing the content of setting.txt file in the emulated NAND). It has been a long time since I used this tool. If I could recall here are the steps (assuming you want to change from SM 3.2U to SM 3.2E):
1. Run SNEEK/UNEEK with SM 3.2U
2. Run AnyRegion Changer, and change the area and game settings to E region
3. Do not exit to SM but just return to HBC and choose the option to turn-off the Wii directly from HBC
4. Use ShowMiiWads to delete SM 3.2U and replace it with SM 3.2E (using the wad downloaded and prepared by using NUSD)
5. Profit
Make sure you have a back-up of the emulated NAND before executing these steps in case you get problems/issues.

Hope that helps.

just woundering is there a size issue with sneek/uneek? like 1 or 2tb? and is there a harddrive compatably list just want to make sure my toshiba will work with it
