Region info is stored in diconfig.bin now. You don't need region.bin anymore.

QUOTE(scooby74029 @ Feb 3 2011, 08:59 PM) if you press 1 to start the sneek menu then press plus to go to settings menu then usa for game region then save and then choose a game and it should work

Thanks guys. Then that takes care of that bit, lol. Now I just need to figure out the "An error has occurred. Press the Eject Button and remove the disc, then turn the WII console off and refer to the WII operations Manual for help troubleshooting." message.

It happens when I try to boot ANY game from my usb hdd. And like I said previously, sneek goes straight to that error screen the next time I try to load it unless I first delete diconfig.bin.

Black NTSC Wii on 4.3U
SNEEK+DI files made with the SNEEK Installer v0.1b6 (only version I can get working with out the Wii losing signal to the television)

Would it be because I have a black Wii? I can't think of any other reason why it would give me the error on every game I try, even after setting SNEEKs settings to NTSC. I'm pulling my hair out here, lol. I've tried three different usb devices also.

I'm running Uneek+DI on my black Wii (4.2E) and rev 125 works perfectly.

I'm guessing you have a bad dump/corrupt game as first game.

Games finally started working after I re-formatted my usb drive. Not sure what went wrong along the way but everything's working great now, with the exception that I'm stuck on r125. No video signal with anything higher compiled on my own.

Will wait for an updated SNEEK Installer.

What is the exact reason that SNEEK/UNEEK/DI cannot access the Rock Band 2/3 music store? And is it something that could be fixed?

The reason I would rather access the store to download is because the RB3 DLC doesn't work with the DLC managers. The thing is... I can't access the store whatsoever. I guess I have to download EVERYthing from the current gen and just manually delete what I don't want from within the game.

Edit: Trying to access the in-game store gives error 20100. I hope someone figures out how to get in using SNEEK/UNEEK.

Does anyone have RB3 working on R145, I can't seem to get it to work, if you can and are willing to help me please PM me. Thanks!

Thanks for the answer, after several failed tries, I just realized that I still need to install bootmii before I do the SNEEK stuff, right? I have an unhacked U4.3 wii, I was follow the instruction, but whenever I put the SD in and turn on the wii, it just go to the system menu. There is nowhere in the instruction saying I need to install the bootmii first. I was hoping I can get this work without any modification of the wii, but looks like I still need to get the bootmii installed first...

yes bootmii is required...if you can only install bootmii@IOS, the HBC or priiloader is also required

Thanks, and yes, I can only install bootmii as IOS, so I will need to install HBC, then I will go with USB loader I guess. that's much easier I think.

I would definately recommend a traditional usb loader over sneek for a new user.
When wiiflow/gx/cfg is running in sneek then I personally think everyone shoud be on sneek, until then sneek is amazing for wiiware but for usb loading there are easier and prettier ways for a newbie

I'd have to disagree. I believe that sneek's DI module is a much better solution than traditional USB loaders. Although, for a new user it isn't quite easy to get started using it because it is much less used than other loading. Since it's less used, there's less people making tutorials on how to use it; everytime a troublesome game arises on a traditional USB loader there are dozens of people that make tutorials on how to get that game working. Also, since more people use those there are also more people that develop those technologies. With sneek there are also very few contributors since few people use it. Although, in the end it's all a matter of opinion.

There have been a few updates to SNEEK in the past few days!
The binaries were also updated!
Code:
Updated copyright to 2009-2011

DI:
ÂÂ -Cleaned up some code
ÂÂ -Fixed that when no titles.txt is present that no games are shown
ÂÂ -Added WiiRd remote debugging feature, /sneek/kenobiwii.bin is required to
use it
ÂÂÂÂsettings can be accessed through the SMenu config screen
ÂÂ -Added an option to skip automatically search for new games (improves boot up
time)
ÂÂ -Added an option to rebuild the game cache see SMenu config screen
ÂÂ -Commented most debug stuff out
ÂÂ -Removed unused code
ES:
ÂÂ -Changed many magic values to structs
ÂÂ -Added a function to create all pathes for a title
SMenu:
ÂÂ -Added debugging related options to the settings dialog
ÂÂ -Made cover displaying optional, see options
ÂÂ -When changing game related options the game is reloaded when selecting 'save config'
Code:
DI:
ÂÂÂÂ-Fixed the GameID for WiiRD
ÂÂÂÂ-Fixed that when the game changed no hoo[code]ked was installed
Code:
SNEEK+DI and UNEEK(+DI) are now only using one USB port so the other port should
beusable by other devices now.

This feature was implemented in sorgs NANDemu since ages.

Maybe if he'd released the source code (like he was required to) other people could have seen how it was done and it wouldn't have taken so long to be implemented.

Yea, I guess you are right. He seems to have abandoned his NANDemu and does not reply to PMs at all. It's too bad.
