Well I got the menu working. That was a missing font.bin in my sneek dir.
Now the only thing I need is the homebrew channel on my sneek nand.
I'm on 4.3, how am I gonna achieve this. Hackmii installer 0.6 won't work as no vulnerable ios. Can't find 0.7 and 0.8 isn't compatible due to ios58 not working in sneek.

Any ideas guys?

restore an IOS on your real nand and use hackmii 0.7b to install homebrew channel 1.0.7:
---

then dump your nand and extract the homebrew channel to a WAD and then install the wad to your emulated nand

Just what I was looking for, HBC 0.7, thanks dude.

Any ideas what IOS I need to restore for the 0.7 installer to work?
Would the hackmii installer 0.7 not work on the emu nand (4.3) straight off? Already got bathaxx on there so running an exploit would be easier

After hours upon hours of trying everything in the book I finally got SNEEK + DI to at least load.

My problem now it that whenever I select a game from the SNEEK menu, it never shows up in the Disc Channel and after a minute or two I get "Error occured. Press the eject button and remove the disc. Turn the power off and follow the instructions in the operations manual".

I then have to delete diconfig.bin from USB:/SNEEK to get SNEEK runnning again, otherwise I just get that error message without even selecting a game... as if it autoboots the game I last tried to run.

How do I fix the "Error Occured..." message and get the games to actually load?

ThanX!

Having probs getting HBC1.0.7 off my real NAND for install on UNEEK. Got WAD Creator working but "Homebrew Channel" doesn't show up. System Menu, MIOS, EULA, Region Select, IOS's etc all show up but not HBC. There is a shit load of "Unknown" titles on there but where is HBC? Ive done a re-install of HBC1.0.7 using hackmii installer 0.7b but it doesn't appear.

Any suggestions people?

Hi all,

I've been running Uneek+DI rev. 125 succesfully for a while, so no problems there.
Lately i've been trying to update my Uneek rev though (from 145 through 147) and all it does is give me a black screen.

The NAND works on rev.125.
On 147 (todays tests) I get a black screen, the wiimotes sync just as normal, the usb drive flashes as usual, up to the point where the "press A"-screen is supposed to show, but the screen just stays black.
There's no flashes of the drive and no other activity on the USB after that.
I've tried removing shared2, title content 00000001/00000002 (all except setting.txt) and everything else on the wiki pages.

I've tried compiling with modmii, which gives a no signal
I've tried compiling myself, which gives black screen
I've tried using the precompiled files (.elf) with the official sneek installer, which also blackscreens.

Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong here? I'm at a total loss, as 125 works perfectly.

Thanks, scooby, trying it now, i'll post results

Hmm.. ok.. Here's what went down:

I used the 253 installer, went ok
I installed the channel wad, which is ok as well

Copied the compiled armboot.bin and sneek folder over to USB

Booted up the Wii, pressed begin on Uneek loader channel; No Signal screen, wiimotes out of sync, etc.

There was absolutely no USB activity either. Could that be a hang at the armboot.bin?
or anything else??

i know on mine sometimes i have to turn off the wii and then back on then start channel again and mine will start something to do with the usb drive i use might be the same thing for you
just restart a couple times and see if it works for you

Well, tried lots again, but it's a no go.. any other rev except 125 doesn't work for me.
Guess it's back to that till Crediar ups the autoinstaller.. lol

Thanks for the help anyways

As far as I could recall...

You need python to run makebin.py (for transforming armboot.elf to armboot.bin).
You could see the full command/instruction in Makefile under folder mini-tree-mod.

No, I think you should install Python (or download armboot.bin from here)

Already had python installed - seems to have worked on the 2nd attempt. But anyway... seems like the latest rev breaks sneek+di for me. I am now getting no video signal again.

Edit: Another thing I noticed before I tried the latest rev, is that regardless of having an ntsc region.bin in the correct location... sneek still defaulted to pal. Would that make any difference or not as to why i could only ever get the "an error has occurred... eject disc" message?
