I got v5661, you should try "DiscEX -v metroid.iso" this will check the data while extracting.
Another cause might be your HDD maybe the FS is a bit corrupted, try to run a chkdsk.

Yeah, I did the DiscEX -v mode, with no issues.

Also tried creating a fresh NAND, with an IOS70, 4.2U system menu, and IOS56v5661, and have the exact same issue.

I'll probably just wait until my actual disc comes, because I can't think of anything else to try.

I want to build a Sneek SD for my cousin . He's little so i won't get him to dump him nand or stuff like that , hope i can walk him through for Hackmii . I'd like to use a nand downloaded with Modmii ( NUSAD ) to which i will add the specific files needed from him console . What exactly are the files i really need from his console ? I need setting.txt with his serial number , then cert.sys ..what else ?

nonononnoonon!!! because he's so little, u NEED to get him to dump his nand! Besides, using bootmii is very easy, all u tell him is hit reset X times, Power Y times, wait for a little bit... etc.... not to mention that there's not much u can do with bootmii to harm your console... only possible thing is running another app from it's SD card menu... but u wont have anything dangerous saved there anyways.

A nand dump is very VERY important, once u have this, u are unbrickable, even if u only have bootmii as IOS, and infectus + nand backup can save any wii (assuming no hardware failware)

anyways, I would suggest getting the full nand dump, and even having him use that, and it will already have HBC and his save files on it too

Just recently returning to the SNEEK/UNEEK world again...

Has anyone tried or managed to run geckoos (to load the gct or cheat code file) with the latest version of self-compiled sneek/uneek (with or without di)? My much older version of self-compiled SNEEK is working fine running geckoos+gct.

One time I know that we need to change in /es/main.c (line 1231 as-of r120)

*SDStatus = 0x00000002;

to

*SDStatus = 0x00000001;

Are there any other places that we now need to make changes as well? Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

For my personal use (to make Wii/game playing easier), I put together a simple wiibrew app (switch2uneek) to switch between real NAND and choices of UNEEK NAND (with this app user needs to return to real NAND before selecting other UNEEK NAND). Take a look on the following video if you want to see how this app works. Cheers.

It is currently only for my own personal use until I have more time to test more and create the README information and to package them properly.

Hopefully in the next few weeks I could find more time for that, and it will be put in the gadget4sneek googlecode site/page like other SNEEK related apps that I created in the past.

where do i find font.bin??

it says that i can find it in the sneek2 thread... but no link available

Go to the first page of this thread, and there is a section called "Other Valuable Downloads" which has a link to font.bin.

Let me know if you still find any problem to get it.

Interesting, I can't wait to see this released.

Showmiiwads from the first post, on how to install HBC to your NAND will delete it out of the NAND and install the 1.0.7 HBC.WAD.

Right click and delete.

I tried to play CoD 3 USA on 4.3 E and I get a black screen on start. Do I need an USA Nand for USA games on Uneek+Di?

i did a little bit different - i reinstalled hbc 1.0.7 in my real nand and made a new nand dump. the new dump i used for mii virtual sneek nand. now sneek works with hbc 1.0.7 however there is an additional problem

HBC 1.0.7 boots from sneek but it is not able to initialise/read my sd card apparently. if i select 1 in hbc 1.0.7., the sd card and usb hdd are not selectable. any idea whats going wrong?

Yes you can use USA games on a PAL nand

have you tried applying the video mode patch and trying again and check you have the IOS the game uses installed
