I have confirmed that SNEEK r112 works properly.
I use SM 4.2J Wii(4.2J and 4.3J NAND).
I compiled SNEEK r112 according to the guide of this forum, using IOS80-64-v6943 0000000e.app and IOS60-v6174 00000001.app.
Do not need the change in build_boot2.cmd

Strange

cause there was an error in rev112, which is now corrected in rev113.
btw. rev113 works fine here.
Only problem is getting the latest hbc (0.7b) on my sneek nand. Updating from within sneek doesn't work?

I edited the source of sneek_r112 as follows;
Edit c:\sneek\di\main.c; "DICfg->Region = EUR"->"DICfg->Region = JAP"
Edit c:\sneek\es\SMenu.c; add the offsets of case480, case512

HBC1.0.6(not 1.0.7) is installed in my 4.2J and 4.3J NAND.

I tested SNEEK and SNEEK+DI, not UNEEK and UNEEK+DI.

Still can't get UNEEK to work at all, but SNEEK+DI still works fine.

I patched the 00000098.app on 4.3U to be verbose (IOSKPatch.exe 00000098.app patched.app -p), am using the IOS80 .app, and have tried both my main USB drive as well as a 4GB flash drive, and it just refuses to load.

I don't get any disc slot blinking either like the newer revision should show, the screen just stays entirely black.

The USB drive blinks its activity light twice, and then nothing else happens.

exactly the same here

the same nand works fine with SNEEK+DI?

Edit:
I tried a fresh 3.2E Nand on my USB drive and that worked, the game shows up in the disc channel, but i get a black screen when i try to run it. And the games menu doesn't work...

ES:
-fixed a bug which would skip patching the system menu if no
font.bin was present
-fixed a bug which would cause a freeze when using IOS80
-Added a few sanity checks to prevent buffer overflows
That's the one virgin nand boots after setup

Edit as soon as I add the Di.bin to the sneek folder and the nand won't boot same response as before

I've been having the exact same problem since 111

Could you try it with a clean 3.2 nand on you usb device? If i do that UNEEK at least can be started. So my guess is it has something to do with the Nand i am using?
Edit:
Started all over again, installed a fresh source on my pc (latest rev114) and compiled again, did a check with a hexeditor and i noticed a difference in the files di.bin and kernel.bin (boot2_usb.bin). Where in fact i compiled those before after updating to rev 114!
So i copied those newly created files to my SD and USB device and copied a 4.2E nand to my usb device, and now it works! UNEEK+DI
yaywii.gif
This loads an awful lot faster then SNEEK+DI from SD
rofl.gif

SD:
bootmii folder with armboot.bin
sneek folder with di.bin, font.bin and kernel.bin

USB:
4.2E Nand with HBC (1.06)
games folder
sneek folder with region.bin, di.bin, font.bin and kernel.bin

I guess installing a fresh source (not updating) did the trick for me, cause all other dependencies didn't change...

I got into the wii setup with sneek-di with the latest revision using the clean 3.2U NAND where i had been having the same problem as uneek! I'm about to test uneek

I just tested,

3.2U real nand
4.2U emulated
1.0.6 HBC
16gb toshiba flash drive

sd:/bootmii/armboot.bin
sd:/sneek/kernel.bin (renamed boot2_usb.bin)

usb:/sneek/di.bin
usb:/sneek/kernel.bin (renamed boot2_usb.bin)
usb:/sneek/font.bin
NAND
usb:\import
usb:\meta
usb:\shared1
usb:\shared2
usb:\temp
usb:\title
usb:\games\a_game example: usb:\games\RMGE01

Works great.

Same thing DOES NOT work on my 500gb USB that worked with other revs of sneek.

I compiled Sneek+DI r114 using IOS80, it's working fine

I have 2 games installed :
New Mario (PAL)
Arc Rise Fantasia (US-undub) (I didn't try the original not undubbed)
Using system menu 4.2E

Mario works fine.
ARFantasia doesn't boot (IOS33 needed by the game is installed)
frown.gif

I have a black screen and USBgecko log show : VIConfigure(): Tried to change mode from (5) to (0), which is forbidden
is it a Hook type VI ? is that needed ?
Do I have to patch something to allow NTSC-U games running on PAL nand ?

I tried the "B menu" to set region USA, but the game is not detected at all when using this setting.

PS : newer revision doesn't log as much data as previous one on USBgecko, that's too bad.

Where do I enable the VI patch ?
I didn't see the menu for that.

Is it explained on the first post ? edit : nope, I didn't see it. sorry for asking something new
