hm crediar uploaded discEX 0.3. just for your information

Thanks for pointing that out. A fresh release, only 11 DL's

Just ripped a couple of games, the operation went fast! Need to test them now. Hopefully I don't get the dreaded "Sample Game Title" error.

that is not an error, the people who mastered the disc simply didn't change the default game title, you can hexedit the boot.bin of that title to correct that.

if the story mode doesn't work it really sounds like a bad dump, try to use FTPii to create the backup that worked for me. And DiscEX of course to create the files.

@OSW: I only tried the story mode, this one didn't work, can't tets other modes at the moment.
Power cycle bug here too (from SD), from USB it boots mostly one first try.

Thanks for the sorta- confirmation

Another bug: My wii also freezes halway through playing the pangya golf banner, if I've changed it from another game.
After rebooting the wii then the banner loads fine.

I've replicated all these events on R78 and R80.

If these bugs are confirmed, might be worth to put them on the google code page?

Is there a guide to the slot light pattern? I've wait for an hour and tried 2 sd cards, both blinking differently trying to get sneek up. Do I need to read through the original sneek thread?

blinking is done by mini so that is not really part of SNEEK

That is a VERY helpful piece of knowledge. Thanks SanGor for setting the facts straight.

Strange, today I just tried to do an online update on my 3.2 sneek nand... Around 30% through it failed... Upon restart it was 4.2...

Were all channels properly installed? This happened to me once to and all I could find was that some channels were missing which should have been installed. I don't know the point it failed, because I went away during the update.

What file was this link for and I'll attempt to fix it. Found it. Fixed it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Added to the first post.

"Sample Game Title" error.

Do some games just not work with SNEEK+DI? Some work, some don't. So far RB2 and NSMB seem to work properly but I can't get GH5, Band Hero, GH Smash Hits and GHWT to run. They all have sample game title problem except Smash Hits. I hex edit the boot.bin from Sample Game Title to the appropriate name (does it have to be exact?)

They all give different problems in SNEEK+DI. GHWT launches to a green screen. Smash Hits makes the system menu freeze up a few seconds after selecting it. Band Hero launches to a black screen. GH5 makes SNEEK completely crash and the Wii shutdown to orange light standby mode.

Anyone know whats up what that? SNeek fault or mine?

Seems RB2 works to a point, I found this:

http://code.google.com/p/sneek/issues/detail?id=40

and also

http://code.google.com/p/sneek/issues/detail?id=17

this is to assume that they are at least getting past the boot of the game to reach the DLC content, but your saying you can't get that far eh ??

I couldn't find anything on the others.

Is it just me or does Zelda TP NTSC-U save file keeps corrupting? I notice that it grows in size from 16KB to 24KB.
The PAL version of Zelda TP does not do this, but I keep getting green screen of death when using GeckoOS 1.9.3.
I am using SNEEK+DI with fake system menu 4.2U.

Thanks man, I checked out those links. It sounds like the games will work, I'm just not there yet. I know the music store DLC + SNEEK is a problem. I gives me the same error and crash problems with RB2.

I'll keep trying and report my findings for others to learn from. New discoveries keep happening, I look forward to experimenting with all of the emulated NAND potentials.

i've tried with other HDDs but i still have problems that forces me to power cycle my wii before being able to run sneek, none is working on the device compatibility side right?

that's weird tho couse both disks are running fine with USB loaders.

hmm, I'm curious, try Switch2Sneek and see if it works without having to power cycle your HDD.

Let us know what the outcome is if you would please.
