Apple Sn0wbreeze 2.2 JB 4.2.1 iPhone 3G?

Hi, my friend's iPhone 3G is on 4.2.1, and has never been jailbroken, would I be able to jailbreak it using Sn0wbreeze?
I don't need, or want to unlock, just want an untethered jailbreak.
I tried using greenpoison, but found out that it doesn't work on the 3G. =X
Someone told me to use redsn0w, but I think that's still only available to beta testers... :S

I'm almost positive Sn0wbreeze 2.2 works on the iPhone 3G 4.2.1....

Maybe you should visit the guide.

Maybe now would be a good time for me to update the guide....
