Wow. Ok gonna try running Aogami under Windows Sandbox. Hopefully will be able to replicate the problem through that so I can figure out whats going on :|

Installed runtime 6.0.31
I can't think of anything else that could be conflicting.

Only thing I can think of now is going to Event viewer and searching for any information that pops up. If you guys could, would you check on your end. It works on mine so there would be no information related to your problem

looks like installing .net desktop runtime 6.0.31 was the fix! thank you!

using your Aogami editor of the latest release (the emergency release) and there were some issues.

after loading in my save, macca, glory and item amounts were not detected, they were showing up as zero. i changed the amounts for them (for items, i only gave myself 99 grimores to test). i also changed a stat of one of my demons to test if your fix from earlier worked. after saving my changes and loading it back in on my switch, the stat change on my demon worked! unfortunately, the amount changes to macca, glory, and grimores didn't. could this be an issue on my end?

No not really. Outside demons and skills (kinda), the rest aren't really tested so not really surprised that stuff did not load. I can check macca and glory as they should have loaded

I didn't even know they had released anything above 8. Follow that first link in your cmd to download dot net core 10 to get the missing framework

I already have dot net runtime 6.0.0 installed from another save editor I used that required it.
ok got it. Now I was able to:

Edit my save ✅
Decrypt it ✅
Re-encrypt it ✅
Loaded it back to my Switch ✅
Still no changes. ❌

What am I doing wrong? 🫠

What edits did you make? I have only extensively tested switching demon and kinda tested changing demon stats. The rest is probably broken with the values of various stuff being moved around in the save file.

Just Increased my macca,
the glory & items.

None of those work rn. Currently fixing macca and glory. Items is a not implemented yet as its still loading values from base SMTV.
i'll be waiting patiently for that update then! thank you for all your work, it's greatly appreciated it!!

quick question tho. do you have any plans to implement item amount changing to either Aogami or your editor from this thread?

Im prioritizing my editor for now and only fixing Aogami if its an error in regards to reading/writing data to Vengeance.
Currently revamping how I load in data in my Editor to make it less of a pain to troubleshoot. Also planning to add Player resistances, skill potentials and innate skill editing (Dont have the values to load for innate skill though).

@angrynewraze There is a Completed save online that has the MC at lvl 150

sounds awesome, can't wait for your editor to reach that point!! i'll use Aogami for now then bc all I really need rn is more macca and glory, as i'm still on my first playthrough. will definitely be using your editor later when I need to prepare for the super bosses (to eliminate the grind lol).

btw thank you for making it easier to decrypt saves btw, my dumbass couldn't figure it out last night 😭

You don't use aogami to decrypt saves. It only imports or exports an already decrypted save. You have to use zmbkilla's save utilities to re-encrypt the save: https://github.com/zmbkilla/smtv.saveutil
It asked me if my save file was DEC I said no then made a file called GameSave01_DECRYPTED, I trired using the other thing and don't understand it

You have to use the zmbkilla's save utilities that I provided the link to before to decrypt the save first which should put "dec" on the end of the file name as the extension name then open that file with the "dec" for the extension name in aogami and when it asks you if you're save decrypted click yes and mod the save the way you want then export the save and overwrite the file with the dec extension and keep the file name then go into zmbkilla's save utilities and encrypt the save to put it back to normal

it doesnt work for me
