Except this isn't using a code. Of course if you use ocarina infinite lives it won't go down.

Too bad you don't really need lives in the game lol.
But there does always seem to be a way to get infinite lives in every Mario game that has lives.

super mario 2 not 1 there is no cheat as far as i know cos the only way to get lives was with the slot machine
