Hacking SMG 2 with 4.2 and softmod

I have a problem

I tried installing a softmod for the Wii, unfortunately it didn't work out as it should because the backup loaders keep on freezing.

But that is not my problem now. I have a retail copy of SMG 2 and I want to play it. The Wii says to me that I have to install the latest update to 4.3 .
It also says that if it has been modded, the update might 'brick' my Wii.

What should I do?

smg2 has update 4.2 on it NOT 4.3 it is most likely an ios, use gecko to run it or use nusad to get the latest ioses

Ah it worked itself out! I used priiloader to block updates. Thanks for the help.
Altough I'm wondering if this will give any problems in the future. I would like to buy the new Zelda but I also like to keep using these homebrew things.

Will it give me any problems in the future?

if you have everything modded correctly, it shouldn't be a problem.the most you'll have to do is install updated IOS.
