Are there any homebrew apps that will allow me to share a SD/USB drive that is attached to a wii and have it be mapped or accessed via a network share?

I was hoping to access my SD card from my PC by means other than FTP or HTTP. to make is easier to edit config files ect..

Any in a WAD/Channel or DOL?

    Thanks,

    SG?

How well does Wii Linux work?
Is it stable and useful at this time?

It's stable. But since there's no Wi-Fi or USB2.0 support you'll need an Ethernet Adapter and a some patience.

I use FTPii and map the location as though Network Places in XP, I also had it mapped in Vista but don't remember the process prior to formating and going back to XP.

edit: Oops helps to read properly missed the part that said doesn't want to use FTP
