Homebrew Smash update not working?

This card has system update 9.2 right? I have a freak friend who may help you out. He is looking for 9.2 update Super Smash cart. So he can trade you a brand new Super Smash Bros for yours.

I think 2 conditions are: 1. The cart is still playable (error with the game update is fine) 2. You're in Amazon Prime Now area.

He is just a weird dude. He's searching for 9.2 system update which comes in some batches of Super Smash Bros. If you can, downgrade an O3ds EMUNAND to 9.0, and use the game card to update to see whether it update to 9.2.

He wants this kind of SSB game cart for the ease of updating back to 9.2 after he downgrades his O3DS to 2.x to get OPT.bin

LOL. Don't ask me. I asked him this question myself. He is just weird. (I even helped him made a thread searching for this 9.2 SSB card in the trade section).

I've recently downgraded my 3ds and set up an emunand. However, now when i try to play smash, it says that i dont have the latest update. I know that i have it since when i check in data management, it says i have it. What should i do?

Same happens with Hyrule Warriors: Legends for me. I Almost Updated it for 10 times. But my MH4U updates well.

ive done some more research into cias not working and i've discovered that it may be because im using cakes fw. Any thoughts on this?

im on cakes and my smash plays just fine(its a legit copy bought from the eshop)

How are you installing the cia's, Fbi, BBM, or other?

Have you tried getting smash from 'that' iso site and testing to see if you can get that version to update?

i got the smash cia and that one seems to be working fine so idk whats up with my copy of smash
