Hacking Smash Bros on Gateway

I have been trying for days to get Smash Bros working on my Gateway. Every time I try to run it I get a black screen. I have upgraded to an 8GB SD card and I'm still getting the black screen. What do I need to do to fix this?

Do you have an updated EmuNAND? I believe you need an updated EmuNAND for this because of the 'new' encryption.

Things needed to run smash.

Updated emunand of at least 8.1 (9.4 is the latest)
1.5 gb of free space on SD card
You have to wait like 15 seconds after pressing the game if your using the old 3ds and 3ds Xl. It will hang on a black screen but if you wait you will see the smash logo loading after 10 seconds.
