Hacking Small question... SD Cards

Is it possible to install .pkg from an SD Card using a card reader?

I know I can easily try it for myself, but I broke a card reader when I wanted to disconnect it from the rightmost USB port of the PS4.

As far as anything knows, an sd card in a usb reader may as well just be a usb flash drive, at least if it's a simple reader with just an sd slot. If it's a more complex reader with slots for many types of cards, each treated as a separate drive, it might be different. Just my experience. I use the sd reader that came with my dstwo flashcard, and it's treated exactlly like a usb thumb drive, anyway.

SD card can be used if its put in a card reader. exfat is recommended if its 8gb or higher. It might be too big so just try to fit it in

Transfer speed would be ridiculously slow.
