Hi
I'am a noob in switch hack but many articles to learn.

But something is not clear. I copy what I wrote on a another topic (but no response) :

I got a question. I just bought a switch. For hacking. Linux et homebrews. I have a switch no patch with 8.1.0 firmware.

I have one 128gb sd card.

I want linux (l4t) and atmosphere for nsp.

Can I have a kind of dual (third with nintendo OS) boot where I can choose witch OS I want?
I don't have pc. I am a traveller, thats why switch is good for electric consumption (and game). I have to use NX loader or Rekado. Nx loader seems to be not update when I compare to Rekado. Rekado is a good choice?

Atmosphere seems to be one of the most useful OS. But SX OS is also very famous (because modchip). Atmosphere is the best choice?

To save my Nand, I have a 32gb sd card. Save on it and use a another sd card for doing what I want is the best solution?

On my android phone, I will have some payload, like atmosphere or linux, and I will chose from my phone what I want to run? Right?

Thanks

Ps : I have to delay the hack cauz fake 128go sdcard (very slow, as 15mb/s write or read) ... fuuuu

Since all the 'cfws' are loaded from sd card, you can have several of them on one card
128gb might be a little little low though if you have a tendency to hoard games or if you want to try and work your way around emu-nand, which would be a must IF you also want to load original OS for online gaming.

rekado is a good choice, yes.

atmosphere or sx is more of a faith question than anything else.
functionally, atmosphere is pretty much ahead right now and arguably more stable, especially after new firmware updates. unless you really care about xci loading, then you will need sx.
the dongle + jig are a nice bonus, but you can get those separately for other payloads too.

using a pre-prepared sd setup like https://github.com/AtlasNX/Kosmos/releases makes it rather painfree to use and update too.

yes, payload comes from your phone through rekado or nxloader. really, both work well enough to push a payload.
all you need is a way to enter rcm mode, either through a jig, or by installing 'autorcm'
That said, not every phone seems to be able to send payloads for some reason, even if it has otg functionality.

You can check if your phone is mentioned there, I'm almost sure if it works with nxloader, it also works with rekado.
if your phone doesn't work, you might have to get a dongle like http://www.ns-atmosphere.com/en/ to reenter cfw on the go.

as for the nand backup, definitely create one for sure. but you want to have it backed up on more than one drive (for example, one on pc, one on a flash drive) just to be save.

also, if you wanna use homebrew, make sure your sd card is formatted to FAT32 to prevent file system corruption.
use http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm to do it.

slow transfer speeds aren't necessarily a sign of a fake card, maybe you got a bad card reader.
unless you only paid like 5 bucks for it, then it's likely fake.

Use h2testw to check it over night maybe.

Thanks for reply.

For the sd card, i have also a real samsung bought in samsung shop. In my phone, for this 32gb, I have 70mb reading and 30mb writing. With this flashgrip samsung sd card, it's both around 15mb. The print is very different between the 2sd and the back is different from my original sd card. SO, i bought a new one in amazon.uk. Not a noname, but no famous name and with good review. And I took a 256gb... :D

So : thanks for the kosmos link. I did not know that. It's a kind of package about everythings I need?

For the jig, the idea is to unmount the joycon and create a bridge between point 1 and 10. Cheaper way that the jig. If I can found somewhere the special screwdriver. If not I know someone with a 3dprint. Until i do one of them, I will use a paper clip.

I can not find my phone, but the LGV10 works and I have the LG G5. In case, I have also a redmi note 7. Two chance, should be ok.

So for the question : i will have
-l4t linux
-lakka
-atmosphere. And inside atmosphere I will have some app as edizon sys ftpd, netcheat sysclk goldleaf....

And so 3 payload inside rekado. l4t lakka and atmo.

Thank you

You tell to use fat32.

But now, I am stuck because one homebrew is (much) more than 4gb.

oO How to deal with this huge fat32 limit?
