Hacking Sm4shexplorer - Roy voice change causes infinite loading

I downloaded a Melee voice pack for Roy (snd_vc_Roy.nus3bank is the file). Whenever I put it in for him and select him then the stage the game loops into an infinite loop. Does anyone know what the problem is?

might be because the file was not moved to the sd card

It was. That's why it's infinite loading lol if it wasn't it would just have his regular Smash 4 voicing

Also if this information helps anyone, it's only Roy in which this happens to but maybe it could be the file? Maybe something needs to be edited? I'm not sure.

Figured out the problem but don't know how to resolve it. It doesn't show the flags/compressed/decompressed/ file size and I can't edit the file. Any help with this?

Right click -> Properties, see if there's an Unlock button at the bottom. Windows blocks downloaded files sometimes. You can't trust a system that automatically deletes your haxx payloads.

Note, if you haven't already, disable Windows Defender. It's what deletes your haxx (probably also what blocks files, idk).

I've installed a lot of mods already but this was the first one it blocked but you do have a point. It has to be blocking the hacks.

Oh wow I swore that would have worked yet it's still going through the infinite load loop.. I even re-downloaded it with Windows Defender/Microsoft Essentials off. Not sure what's going on.

Nope. Unblock button is gone. Funny thing is, I checked the Melee Marth sound file and it's still blocked yet it loads just fine in Smash 4.

Haha. Well hopefully you can get it working as I don't think I can do anything else to get it working.

I've had stages do this to me. I just deleted them though lol. Maybe the file is corrupted? Try checking it with 7-zip or a file checker.

The file isn't corrupted I'm pretty sure, though that would have been my guess also. Marth's sounds were in there as well and they were fine

That's strange. So it boots fine without the roy file?
